Savannah took us hunting and gave a lesson on how to harvest only the ones with jewelry.

The morning started off in the normal fashion.

Then we thought breakfast was the next order of buisness.

Sutton likes his bacon more cooked so…

We turned up the heat and brown’d the bacon a bit.

We also did some shooting on behalf of The Commish. He asked us to harvest a few of his teal and some Great American Shovelers. Sutton accidentally shot several other species. I guess he didn’t get the memo. Zach seemed pleased.

We set up just north of Robert’s Spot in the north of Boxcar. This might have been where we were trying to go on the 13th when it was so foggy. Today we could actually see where we were going. Fantastic amounts of Teal early. Some of the big ducks came by after the sun came up. We enjoyed watching them fly around and even chased a pair on foot. Real slow by 9am. We would have stayed out longer but Zach has several more weddings to attend.
